Circle Time.

Circle time: The children brought from home photographs of themselves near plants or flowers in their garden or yard.  During this activity, they shared their photographs with their peers, whilst talking and discussing. Everybody had a turn to express him/herself.  To foster confidence, the teacher praised each child for sharing his/her thoughts with the rest of the group. The photographs were put up on a chart  to be admired by all..  Soon after the children noted a snail on of the class plants.  It was an opportunity to teach them about the harm the snail does to plant. They learnt that slugs and snails eat plants.  So they gently took the snail in the soil patch of the school yard
